So as many of you know this past week has had the top college football bowl games. The rose bowl, the fiesta bowl, the sugar bowl, the orange bowl, and next week the National Champinship. The Blue and Maize played the good olde boys from SoCal, and if I must say that they got BEAT, yes it was bad enough to capitalize every letter of that word. They got beat 32-18, and the score makes it sound alot closer then it really was.
Speaking of making it sound alot closet then it was, the Michigan-Ohio State game. They lost 39-42, Those last couple scores were when they game was already over. Everyone made them seem like they were the second best time in the country, and they showed they weren't, to be the best you have to beat the best and they didn't. The only big game they won was when they beat Wisconsin, some will say that they beat Notre Dame as well, but they came win a big game to save their lives, so it doesn't count. Michigan lost their last two games to top ten teams and you have to win those type of games to be good. If they only lost by 14 to USC, I dont even want to know what the score would be if they play Ohio State again, It would look good.
Their coach Lloyd Carr was trying to get all the voters to vote for his team at the end of the season, as was Urban Meyer, but Carr was talking down about florida, and Meyer was talking up his team. Now Im not saying that Florida is goign to win the National Champinship, but they are a very good team. They won the games the were supposed to, they also won their conference. Which I also think should be a requirement to be in the game anyway, But that is another story for another time. But I will say that The BCS is working, we talk about college football now more then ever.
Well the Blue and Maize are now Black and Blue after their big time loss to USC. That is Why they are my BUMBs of the week.
